Niccolò Salvini

I work at the intersection of spatial econometrics, statistical modelling and large-scale data systems. My research covers spatial regression on large networks, the robustness of spatial estimators, and the measurement of corruption risk and transport poverty from unconventional data sources.

Alongside research and teaching I design and deploy end-to-end data and ML pipelines, automated reporting and custom dashboards — mostly in R, Python and cloud-native tooling. The two sides feed each other: methods tested on real infrastructure, infrastructure built with methodological care.
